A Family-Owned Pest Control Business You Can Trust
Serving Virginia, Maryland & Washington D.C.
Our Story
Highland Pest Control started in 2010 in Alexandria, Virginia, with a focus on one of the toughest pests out there: bed bugs. Specializing in such a persistent, frustrating problem taught us precision and the value of doing a job thoroughly the first time.
That foundation shaped who we are today. Highland is now a full-service pest control company protecting homes and businesses throughout the Washington, DC metro region, from ants and rodents to termites, stinging insects, and everything in between. We’re fully licensed and insured in Virginia, Maryland and DC.
We’re still locally owned and operated by husband-and-wife team Jesse & Elizabeth Jardim. We love the communities we serve. When you call Highland, you’re working with neighbors who care about your home or business as much as you do.
Our Approach
We practice Integrated Pest Management (IPM), a science-based approach that focuses on long-term prevention, not just quick fixes.
We start with a thorough inspection to identify the pest, find out why it’s there, and locate entry points and conditions that attract it.
From there, we combine targeted treatments with exclusion, sanitation recommendations, and ongoing monitoring, using products only where and when they’re needed.
The result is effective, lasting control that’s safer for your family, your employees, your pets, and the environment.
